Terms of Service

Effective October 3, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Flux TV ("Flux TV", "we"). By creating an account or using Flux TV you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. Who can use Flux TV

You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account. Children may watch only through a kids profile that a parent or guardian sets up on their own account and supervises. You are responsible for everything that happens on your account, so keep your password and profile PINs private.

2. The service

Flux TV streams animation and music published by independent creators. What is available can change: creators may add or remove their work, and we may remove work that breaks these terms. Streams are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial viewing. You may not download, copy, record, re-broadcast or share them, or try to get around the technical protection on them.

3. Membership and billing

• Flux Premier costs $6.99 a month and renews automatically each month until you cancel.
• You are charged when you subscribe and then on the same day each month, using the payment method on your account.
• You can cancel at any time in Account → Membership. Cancelling stops future charges; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
• Payments already made are not refunded, except for billing mistakes and where the law requires it. The full rules are in Refunds & cancellation.
• If we change the price we will tell you by email at least 30 days before it applies to you, and you can cancel before it does.
• Free accounts can watch the episodes creators have marked as free.

4. Donations

Donations to creators are voluntary gifts. They buy nothing, are not refundable, and are passed to the creator.

5. Your conduct

Follow the Community rules. In short: no harassment, no hate, nothing sexual or unsafe for children, no spam, and nothing that infringes someone else's rights.

6. Creators

• Identity check. Before you can upload or post, you confirm your identity through Stripe with a government-issued photo ID and a selfie.
• You keep ownership of what you upload. You give Flux TV a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, encode, stream, display and promote it on the service for as long as it is published here. Removing your work ends that licence, apart from copies we must keep by law.
• You promise that you own what you upload or have every permission needed for it (including music, footage, artwork and voices), and that it breaks no law and no one's rights.
• No AI-generated work. You may not upload animation, artwork, music, voices or writing produced with generative AI. We remove it when we find it, block the removed files from being uploaded again, and may count it as a strike or withhold payouts earned from it.
• Payouts. 70% of each member's subscription is shared among the creators that member watched in the month, in proportion to watch time. In addition, creators earn $0.005 for each qualifying view of a free episode. Free-tier earnings are paid through the same Stripe payout, subject to the same $10.00 minimum. A view must meet a minimum watch time to qualify, and views found to be fraudulent or artificial are not paid. Payouts are made through Stripe once your balance reaches $10.00; smaller balances roll over. You are responsible for your own taxes. We may withhold or reverse payouts earned through fraud, artificial views, or infringing work.
• Every uploaded file is fingerprinted. We compute a hash of each video and audio file to detect re-uploads of work removed for copyright reasons or for being AI-generated.
• Copyright strikes. Work removed after a valid copyright notice counts as a strike. 3 strikes suspend the studio. See the Copyright policy.

7. Comments, posts and playlists

You are responsible for what you write and share. You give us permission to display it on the service. We may remove anything that breaks these terms.

8. Suspension and ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in Account → Privacy & data. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, infringes repeatedly, or puts the service or other people at risk.

9. Disclaimers and limits

Flux TV is provided "as is". We do not promise it will always be available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be waived.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you by email or on the site before it takes effect. Using Flux TV after that means you accept the new terms.
